New Marketing Campain + Mail Merge
virtualison 6/11/2007 3:46:01 PM
I want to do a personalized email merge as a marketing campaign in bcm 2007,
just a brief email message that makes it look like I'm personally following
up on the individual's needs (which i am!)

Which delivery method do I choose?

Can anyone refer me to a step-by-step source?

Thanks.

The new BCM Marketing Campaign is basically a built-in, 5-step merge wizard
that also saves a record of the campaign in everyone's history. Doing a
merge outside of BCM (without using the Marketing Campaign) can be done but
the history will not be automatically tracked. This is the main difference.

Your "delivery method" can be Outlook for your email or if you have a lot of
messages at once, you can use a mass message delivery service to upload to.
As a step-by-step source go into the Marketing campaign folder and just
intuitively walk yourself through this to figure it out. You can also tap
into more detailed insights from the"Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager
for Dummies" book by Lon Orenstein and Karen Fredericks.
