How do I customize fields in business manager

I want to change and or delete some existing field. For example, I want to
add a new customer and have a field that shows what there end priduct is and
a field to show if they use contract manufacturing.

I am trying to figure this out too...
I made a new field using the customize current view option but it only shows
the new fields at the top of the page with no way to edit them and they don't
show up when you pull up a contact.

I just found out that the 2003 version does not let you create custom fields
so that they can be imported into or show up on the forms. But the 2007
version does allow this.
