If the problem persists, restart outlook. I would create a new outlook data file, but I don't want to lose my address book info. Is there a way I can create a new default outlook data file but keep my calendar and address book info in place. 2nd question (unrelated) Why is is that whenever I try and archive my emails (by selecting auto archive now) nothing ever happens? Generally it leaves the Outlook PST and emails alone. If not, try your question in microsoft.public.outlook.
