OneNote 2007 Doesnt work on my Tablet PC
michelangelo[ at ]tinlion.com 5/3/2007 10:27:35 PM
hello, i upgraded OneNote 2007 on my MotionComputing 1400 Tablet PC.
Everytime i try to write on the page with my pen, i get an installing
dialog that says "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft
Office OneNote 2007" the message in my event viewer is:

Detection of product '{91120000-00A1-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}', feature
'OneNoteNonBootFiles' failed during request for component '{B1848F92-
A8A6-4847-B8E0-6C2F687D1104}'

when it goes away, i can draw on the page, but i if i try to treat it
as hand writing or convert it to text it pops open a progress bar
(that it is converting the text) and it never goes away. i eventually
have to kill onenote in the task manager.

OneNote 2003 worked flawlessly. i tried a beta of OneNote 2007 and it
would crash every time i tried to use the pen on the page, perhaps
this is related? i really want to use 2007 badly, can someone help?

Did you 100% completely uninstall the OneNote 2007 beta before
installing the RTM (retail) OneNote 2007 ?
