Greek language pack craches word 2007 "Alexis Filios" <alexisfilios[ at ]hotmail.com> 4/12/2007 4:11:53 PM Big problem with Greek language in office 2007. I installed greek version of office 2007 and word crashes opening greek files (with hyphenation in automatic mode). No problem opening file in english. I installed english version and everything works well (no greek hyphenation and spell tools of course). I installed greek language pack on the top of english version and word crashes again. I uninstalled language pack and all ok again. Same issue on all installations of my greek friends (at least 4 pc). Any ideas, please.... Alexis

It is English version of Word. I use Unicode for the Russian text, Russian spellcheck switched off. When I COPY Russian text from Word 2003 to Word 2007 it abends and closes. The same happens when I try to open docs with Russian text created by Word 2003.

Greek language pack installed means that it either is the Greek version of Office 2007, or that the Greek Single Language Pack has been installed on top of an Office in a different language. I purcased and installed the Greek Language Pack (installes onlx the greek proofing tools). After that, Word (i did not checked other Applications) crashes every time i open a document in greek language. OS is Vista 32, German.
