....the upshot of which means that you'll need to create Quick Parts in Outlook (in the Insert tab when composing a message, type the text you want to use, select it, then click Quick Parts -> Save Selection...). Quick Parts created in Outlook will respond to F3 in Outlook. But, they're wholly apart from what happens in Word.

AutoCorrect, on the other hand, is intergrated, and AutoCorrect entries you create in Word are usable in Outlook, and vice versa.
