printing cut short

I have a user running office 2003. She is merging data from excel into a
word template. The first few times she does it, it works correctly. After
that it cuts off the bottom 25% of the page both in print preview and in the
printing. If she logs off and on again it will work again for two or three
times and then the process repeats itself. I don't even know where to start,
but was thinking of totally removing and reinstalling office. Any
suggestions?

Hard to say what the cause of this is, but re-installing Word/Office rarely
achieves anything useful. I suspect a problem with the print spooler or the
print driver. Try turning off the background printing from tools > options >
print when merging.
