How many contact names can outlook manage?
Eric 3/19/2007 3:14:03 AM
I have 6500 email address to manage for my weekly news letter.
will outlook manage that many contacts?

My site is hosted on a server that allows 5000 emails a day. I need to send
5000 then 1500 the next day.

Can I use outlook for this. Also, can customers that register for the news
letter be add by script on my web page to Outlook?

Thanks

You might hit performance issues when sending emails to large number of
recipieints in one shot. Business Contact Manager has a service called Email
Marketing Service. You can read about it in BCM team blog at
http://blogs.msdn.com This service is primarily designed to support the
scenario you have described.
