Thanks for this. Let me clarify - so for instance - if I have a history item that is rolled up from a contact and the individual leaves the organisation - if I delete their contact the history in the account will also be removed.
So when linking items I need to link to a contact and at the same time an account. (Which will give me the same item showing twice in the account history - once in respect of the contact and once in respect of the account). By doing so if I delete the contact then the history will still remain in the account.
If I have understood this correctly this is a nightmare as it will require me to re-link hundreds of items to accounts before deleting the contacts that have left/joined a re-formatted organisation.
Is there a way of linking multiple items to accounts in one go?
