Bullets and cursor are on right
Roxy 3/8/2007 7:14:44 PM
I must have hit a combo of keys but now the bullets and four arrow cursor are
on the left of the text box, how do I get them back on the left? It is not
simple alignment and I can't find anything bullet settings, any one have any
ideas, I have searched multiple sites for an answer.

Thanks,
Roxy

You're saying that the bullet points are at the right side of the text
like this?:

text paragraph *
second line *

Or is it that the bullet is where you expect but the text is far to the
right?"

* line of text
* second line

Does changing the paragraph alignment help (Press Ctrl-L to reset the
alignment of the current paragraph to left-alignment, Ctrl-E to center,
Ctrl-R for right alignment)?

Did you possibly set up Windows or Office with a RTL language in the GUI
such as Arabic or Hebrew?

Hello,

Thank you for the response, the first scenario is correct:

The bullets are at the far right of the text box, so how ever far you expand
the box is how far the bullet moves away from the text that is aligned left.

Ctrl-L/E/R doesn't change a thing and I already checked the language, it is
set as English U.S. The funny part is that there is additional text in the
same box that acts with normal formatting, so it is something specific I
changed when I started typing in additional notes. New boxes also act fin, it
is just this one particular section.
