Does changing the paragraph alignment help (Press Ctrl-L to reset the alignment of the current paragraph to left-alignment, Ctrl-E to center, Ctrl-R for right alignment)?
Did you possibly set up Windows or Office with a RTL language in the GUI such as Arabic or Hebrew?
