I did not install the Microsoft indexing feature.
I have a system well in excess of the Microsoft specification for Office 2007.
The whole point of a popup window from the tray icon is to quickly enter a note. I take it from your comment that the specific task's performance is not as good as with the previous version.
If theres' nothing to be done that's too bad. I was hoping that tweaking the OS prefetch would help.
Google Notebook is faster to launch for me now.
