Pasting frames without overlap
morganbritt 12/25/2008 2:24:01 AM
Is there a way to paste a new frame into a page without it covering up ones
that are already there? I don't want to merge them, but if I have a lot of
frames there already it takes forever to move them all around to accomodate
the new one.

Also along those lines, is there a way to move a frame without being able to
click on the top of it? If the top is covered I have to cut something else
to get to it. Is there a select all feature that will allow me to move
everything on the page as a block?

Thanks for the help! You guys are great!

Easy enough: determine the place where a new container shall be inserted
by putting the cursor to the place where the stuff shall be inserted.

For placing the cursor to end of the page you may use the icon at the
low right corner of the window (below the scroll-bar).

For creating free space just use "Insert > Additional space ..."

If the containers are overlaying each other you may always click on the
right border in order to make to increase the width. Then it's easier to
click on the wanted frame's top and move things around.

Yes, there is:
"Edit > Select" and then select "All"
or - as is standard in Windows - Ctrl+A.
