Easy enough: determine the place where a new container shall be inserted by putting the cursor to the place where the stuff shall be inserted.
For placing the cursor to end of the page you may use the icon at the low right corner of the window (below the scroll-bar).

If the containers are overlaying each other you may always click on the right border in order to make to increase the width. Then it's easier to click on the wanted frame's top and move things around.

Yes, there is: "Edit > Select" and then select "All" or - as is standard in Windows - Ctrl+A.
