Don't be afraid. The "Save-Button" is missing *on*purpose* !! (as well as the corresponding item in the menu).

Easy enough: OneNote works totally different from all of the "normal" apps we know.
ON works with a *cache*. Whenever anything is worked on (by opening notebooks) the work is done in the *cache*. And the cache and the original data-files are kept in synch automatically.
Therefore working with ON is quite different from working with any "normal" application (like Word f.e.).
In ON the basic way of working is to just open the notebooks one is working with (normally *ALL* of them). And one never (a) saves the notebooks and (b) never *closes* the notebooks. One just works with them.
And one closes *OneNote* with all of the notebooks left *open*.
Sounds strange someway? Well, ON is a bit different <bg>
