Error: c:\windows\system32\fxsext32.dll
"timchi1956" <timchi1956[ at ]hotmail.com> 10/28/2008 4:04:38 AM
I receive this message "c:\windows\system32\fxsext32.dll" every time I try
to send an e mail using Outlook 2003; my OS is Vista Premium Home. Any
ideas how to rectify this problem. It should be noted I up graded to Vista
from XP HOME. I'm starting to think it may not have been a good thing given
all the issues that have come up since upgrading or downgrading depending on
ones view.

Thanks,

timchi1956

Known issue. Remove your Fax add-in or rename extend.dat when Outlook is
closed.

Could you give me step by step on how to remove fax add-in? I've tried. I
have Windows Vista Home Premium. I think it's on my computer because I used
PCMover from my WinXP system.

You remove it from Outlook. Method depends on version which you did not
post.

Outlook 2007 doesn't use an add-in for the Fax Service. You have to rename
extend.dat
