label printing problems
Sparrow 10/25/2008 2:33:01 PM
Help!! I'm having a lot of trouble printing labels. The formatting is correct
and prints correctly on plain paper, but when I try to print on the sheet of
labels the text prints about 1cm too high. I can't seem to change it no
matter what I do. I'm using Word 2003 and partners P21 labels.

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated as printer and computer
will be thrown out of the window shortly.....

Thank you.

Ah-ha!! After 10 wasted label sheets I have found the answer, and it's not
what I hoped for. I'm using an HP deskjet 3845 and on their website I found
out that it's a problem with this printer. The rollers can't grip the paper
so it slips.

Here is the link in case you're interested: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00283315&dlc=en&product=372330

They don't tell you that when you buy it!!!

Computer didn't go out the window, but printer may yet....

A common problem with many inkjet printers.
