Where is Outlook?
David King 12/27/2008 2:33:01 PM
I upgraded an Office 2007 Professional Trial version using a product key
purchased online. Excel 2007, Access 2007, Ppoint 2007 & Publisher 2007 all
work fine, but Outlook 2007 isn't there?
How do I get it? If I search for Outlook all the results are for my existing
2003 version...

It seems that you need to uninstall Outlook 2003. Then run the install of
Office 2007 again and be sure that Outlook is checked to be installed.

Will I have to save my address book/emails somewhere first, or will I just
lose them?
Also, I don't know where to find the 'install' file. Do I have to download
it again, and if so, where from?
Thanks for the help - you must think I'm very annying!

Forgot about you downloading the trial version. Most downloaded programs put
an icon on your desktop to install and I assume it should be still there. If
worse comes to worse, download again:
http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/default.aspx

Before you do that, be sure to uninstall Outllook 2003, it will not delete
your data. If your pst file was in the default location, you will not have to
do anything, the new Outlook will just find it. It is never a bad idea to
back it up anyway.
