reports to excel : error
JM <no[ at ]where.com> 12/15/2008 3:11:32 PM
Hi there,

When I try to export a report (for instance) from a BCM 2007 to excel, I
got a pop-up saying:
"Business Contact Manager has encountered an internal error in Excel.
Please reinstall Excel and all of its components"

I deleted Excel then reinstalled it with all the office components (just
in case). Same thing.

Any idea ?

If I send this report via e-mail, the excel is correctly generated,
except all my amounts are 10,000 times the real values O_o

Last information:
My outlook is in french, BCM in english, just because I need to use the
exact same BCM version/language to be able to share databases. And I
have several languages for office.
I discussed this exactly-same-version issue many times on this forum before.

Thank you for any information that can help

Regards,

JM

Hi, I finally found it on Google: you must use xlsm as the default file
format !
This is incredibly stupid, but it works.
(I can't understand why outlook couldn't choose what it needs when it
starts excel... this is amazing)

I hope this can help

regards
