Office 2007 Upgrade
"Joe Medford" <joem83[ at ]msn.com> 3/16/2007 4:14:49 PM
I plan to buy Office 2007 upgrade. I have Office 2003. I have a new Vista
machine, which replaced my old XP computer. I bought 2003 some time ago. I
was woundering if I buy the 2007 upgrade, do I need to have office 2003
preinstalled, or will it just ask for the disk??
Thanks

It should just ask for the disk.

It'll need to be preinstalled - otherwise it wouldn't be an upgrade, it
would be a new installation.

JoAnn's information was correct. If an upgrade edition of MS Office does not find a qualifying product install it will ask you to
provide the original product CD of a qualifying product.
