how do i reinstall office after replacing my hard drive?
myshyeyes 4/22/2007 7:34:02 AM
I have Office Student and Teacher 2003. it allows installation on up to 3
computers. my computer had the 2nd installation. the hard drive died so
we bought a new hard drive. i can still look at the old drive and see
things but i can't run them. but if i install on my new hard drive, won't
the office student 2003 think it's the third installation? then if my
daughter's computer crashes, we're hooped, and she's the one who really
needs it for school. thanks for any help!!!

The Licence is for the number of PC's its installed and running on, not the
number of installations
You can install as many times as you wish.
You may have to use phone activation.

Office Student and Teacher Edition can be used on up to 3 computers. In your scenario it can also be transferred. You may need to
use the telephone activation method rather than the online method to be able to explain the scenario to the activation folks if
there are difficulties.
