i have a checkbox field in my subform
i have already set YES default value in the properties
but it does not work, even in my table i have set Default value to YES.
can anyone help me how to accoplish this? or do i need to write my VBA?
i just want that this field only be set to YES.

Is the datasource a Yes/No field type and did you set the default in the
table design to YES?

If you're running Access 2003 with SP3, have you installed the post-sp3
Access hotfix? That fixed some bugs with checkboxes.

Yes I set the default value to Yes for the Yes/no Field in table design and
even in the subform i set the default value to YES for this field.
what else do i need to do?

how can i know that i have the SP3 insalled?where could i exactly find it?

To check for SP3, click on HELP and ABOUT MICROSOFT ACCESS. If you don't,
download it from MS. Maybe Paul is on to something.
