Word 2003 purchase
"Jo-Anne" <Jo-AnneATnowhere.com> 11/25/2008 6:04:24 PM
I recently bought Word 2007--my first Word program--so I could more easily
deal with companies that use Word. I've tweaked it to come closer to
WordPerfect, but the ribbon and other "features" still are driving me to
distraction. I've talked to several people in my business who say that 2003
is better. Is there a legitimate seller from whom I can buy an inexpensive
copy of Word 2003? (I'm assuming I can't just choose to go backwards to 2003
without buying a copy of that program, since I don't have it currently. I'd
happily give up 2007 for it if that's possible.) I don't need the other
programs in the Office suite.

Thank you!

Jo-Anne

Try Amazon.com but remember that Word 2007 has been out for almost 2 years.
Finding it may be diffuclt. (No, you can't just go backwards without buying
it.)

Thank you, JoAnn. I already had tried Amazon (I should have mentioned that),
and the price for 2003 was much higher than for 2007.

Probably because it's getting to be rarer than hen's teeth.
