Hedder Problem Losing Page Breaks When Saving New Name
flamestar <agnifire[ at ]gmail.com> 12/26/2008 11:17:04 AM
I am using Word 2003 with an XP operating system

I am preparing a short story for publication. There is a title page
that does not have a number. Then there is a first page that has a
number but the number is not shown. The last name and page number is
suppose to start on the second page.

I got help and now it works fine unless I save under a different
name. I do want back ups but if I do a save as then the foot notes
start on the title page,

Can anyone help.

I lost the link to previous button on the hedder toolbar and without
it I can't stop it from linking to previous.

There is no reason that simply saving a document under a different name
(using Save As) would have this effect. If you copied and pasted the content
into a new document, you might get this result. But it would appear that you
have somehow deleted the section break.
