microsoft office word encoding?

Im trying to open a file that ends with .xlr into my microsoft office but it
says i have to decode this? im not sure how i do that? its just showing me a
bunch of letters and funky numbers....what do i do? i need to open this file
in microsoft office! please help

xlr files are usually Words Spreadsheet files. You should be able to open it
with Excel.
