pages and endnotes
Sonic 12/9/2008 1:10:00 PM
I have a large problem. I am currently copyediting a book in Word 2003. The
editor wants the endnotes to begin from one at the beginning of each chapter.
Unfortunately, he also wants the pages numbered in sequence. I have tried
using 'section' breaks, but although these give the right numbers for the
endnotes, I can't work out how to then number the pages continuously rather
than having them restart at one for each section. Am I missing some simple
solution or am I approaching the problem in the wrong way?

Thanks for any help you can give.

In the Page Number Format dialog box, set the "Continue from previous
section" option. For each section, you can display the dialog box by
clicking the Format Page Number button on the Header and Footer toolbar.
