Editing E-mail address in the phone list view
Ed Marmon <unlisted[ at ].com.com> 2/28/2007 12:42:47 AM
I've modified the phone list in BCM3 to view my contacts in list view with
phone and email addresses. In the view properties, I've specified for
fields to be editable. I can edit phone, name, etc., all except for e-mail,
e-mail2 and e-mail3. Why?

People change addresses frequently. I'd like to not have to open up the
contact just to add/adjust their email addresses.

Thanks for any ideas.

This option is disabled by default because it does not work for all fields. The workaround is:
1.) "View | Current View | Customize Current View..."
2.) "Other Settings | Column Headings and Rows | Allow in-cell editing"

Is I said in my post, I already did exactly that.

However, the email fields can not be edited. The email address is one of
the most edited and updated. I would like to have that editable in list
view.

Thank you.
