1. Layers on notes
I would like to be able to put overlayers of notes that I can make
invisible if I want. I prepare lecture notes in Onenote, and sometimes want
to annotate them during class, without modifying the notes so I can reuse
them next year. It would be nice to have layers for this purpose.

If you use a new container, you put that on top of an existing
container.
Things added there will not touch in the container below the new one.
