install office 2007 on XP
HenkR 3/28/2007 7:14:02 AM
Hi,

I've bought office 2007. I installed it on my Vista PC: no problem
Now I want to install it on to my XP pc. It always shows "can't find
prorww.cab"
although it is on the cd.

What can I do?

Apart from the obvious have you read the EULA on how many Desktops you can install Office 2007

Hi Henk,

Are you running the Setup.exe that is on the CD directly when you get this message or are you using one of the .MSI files?

If you copy the CD to the hard drive and run setup do you get the same message? Office installs from the \MSOCache folder that it
creates as part of running setup rather than from the CD.
