BCM synch w/Motorola Q
Paul 4/9/2007 4:56:08 PM
I downloaded BCMV3PPC.exe and installed it on my desktop and Q. It installed
the software in both places ok but when I tried to access the BCM on my
smartphone the application hung and the only way out was to uninstall. I
presume this is because the application only works with the "Pocket PC"
version of Mobile 5.0 not the "Smartphone" version. Any suggestions?

Hi Paul
The BCMV3PPC.exe Application is only meant for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs. We
are currenlty working on the smartphone version for BCM V3 and would be out
soon.
Thanks
Vinit

Hi Vinit,

I noticed a new release of the mobile BCM software on 4/23/07 (version 3,
again for Pocket PC's 8-( ) Does your comment below (in regards to a
SmartPhone version) mean that a release for SmartPhones is either "now" or
very soon? If so where would we find it? (link please).

Thanks for your help and support!

Paul:

I am having the exact same problem you describe. Am I correct from reading
your responses to your post that a fix for this is or soon will be available?
