Inking will not work in OneNote 2007 dra1002 6/4/2007 5:10:01 PM After upgrading Office 03 Pro to Office 07 Ent, OneNote generates the following message: OneNote requires Microsoft Windows Tablet PC Edition 2005 with Service Pack 2 in order for inking functions to work properly. The system is a HP/Compaq tc1100. It has sp2. OneNote 03 had no problems with inking. I reinstalled sp2, but still get the error. The pen works fine in Windows journal. Any ideas? Thanks, Dennis

Then I proceded as follows. MSO 2003 uninstalled. It had only one component, Visio. MSO 2007 uninstalled. MSO 2007 reinstalled. I tried the pen with OneNote 07. Same error. Installed the recognizers. Same error. The inking function works in Word and Journal . In Journal, I used the pen to write a word. Used the selection tool to select the word and then "Actions" to convert handwriting to text. Any more ideas? "regsvr32 /s inkobj.dll" 4. Close and restart OneNote This should fix the problem you are having.
