Windows Installer running every time I go to Start Office 2007

Every time i go to start Office 2007 (and all sub programs) the Windows
installer comes up, and i must wait for that to complete before continuing.

I originally had Office XP on the computer, but i removed it before
installing 2007. I read in a previous question to check the registry, but i
couldn't find what you guys were suggesting for him to modify (Folder was
11.0) and i only had 10.0 and 12.0

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I use Excel almost every day for
everything from Dyno sheets to DMX lighting plots for my other job. It has
come to the point where it's more convienent to leave it running. The
biggest problem is Outlook, For each E-mail received it has to run through
the installer again.

I am on Windows Vista 32bit.

I'm having the same problem; running a 60-day trial of OneNote and have to
cancel the OneNote install in order to get Outlook open in a reasonable amt
of time. Help!
