Hi ! I want to install office 07 in to my computer. My CD and DVD drives dont
seem to recognise the DVD. Does any body know why?

Does it recognize *any* disks? Is your CD an authentic MS disk? Have you
tried it on another computer?

Thanks. My CD is an authentic CD. I have installed it on my Laptop. I can not
install it on my disc top. I can run other DVD on my disc top, but when I put
the office CD it does not do any thing and If I click on the DVD icon it ask
me to insert my DVD.

Sounds like you may have a bad CD, you can check this forum for means
to replace it but first, see if you can copy the CD to your harddrive
and install from there.

If that doesn't work, do you have another CD drive such as a CD or DVD
burner? If so, try putting the CD in that drive, sometimes a burner
will read CDs that a regular drive cannot.

And your desktop *does* have a DVD player, right?
