My EULA keeps popping up now that I loaded Office 2003 on vista

I loaded my copy of Office 2003 on a new laptop containing Vista and the
question to accept the EULA pops up every time I open an application.

You must accept the Office End User License Agreement every time
that you start an Office program

Hi,

That article shows Microsoft to be weak on security and clueless
regarding how machine/user settings are supposed to work on Windows.

You do NOT give users permissions to the keys in the HKLM hive. The
whole point of it, is that it's a machine hive, it's NOT a user hive!
With advice like this, it's no wonder people get hit by SpyWare on Windows.

This is a design flaw in Office 2007.

They don't even cover the steps correctly for Windows Vista.

Gerry,

It is not a design flaw in Office 2007, but 2003. And while Microsoft may
not live up to 110% of the advice it gives to others, I find them pretty
good. If you are particularly worried, you could always, give permission,
accept the EULA and then lock it down again.

Also, if you want the full steps for Vista, go look at step 7 at
http://uksbsguy.com/blogs/doverton/archive/2007/03/12/loading-office-2003-into-vista-and-fixing-the-problem-with-the-eula-always-coming-up.aspx
for the Vista specific pieces with screen shots.

thanks

David
