Trying to uninstall Beta
Ryan Dell 4/20/2007 6:54:01 PM
Hello,
I have been following the manual removal steps of beta and have got stumped
where it says
"a. Click Start, click Run, and then type msiexec.exe /x.
b. Drag the .msi file that you found to the Open box.

After you do this, the Open box should contain the following text:
msiexec.exe /x Path_to_msi "

because when i type in "msiexec.exe /x" a box appears saying do you want to
install this product, this is not what microsoft say. They say something
about an open box and that is no where to be seen.
All help and advice would be greatly appreciated as I have the original copy
waiting to be installed.
Thanks
Ryan Dell

If you get stuck on the first step (the one you are talking about), just
keep going. The steps that have you delete items in the registry and
files will remove the beta fully no matter what the outcome of the first
step.
