I have Office 97 in an old PC running Windows 98. I now would like to move
it to a new PC I purchased that's running XP. The Office 97 software was an
upgrade version that required the PC to have Works installed. Although the
XP PC has Works, it must be a newer version that is not recognized by Office
97 as it gives me the message that it doesn't recognize any software that
qualifies for the upgrade.
Any ideas on how to resolve or am I out of luck and will need to purchase a
new version? Thanks for your help!
