Word spacing irregular
Kevin Buchs 2/14/2007 7:09:07 PM
I see very irregular display of the space character between words and at the
end of a sentence. The width of a space is not constant when displayed.
Note, I am using ON 2007, zoom set to 100%, font 11 pt. Calibri. Screen
resolution is 1920x1200 on a 30" Dell monitor. This is especially troubling
at the end of a sentence where one space after a period might look like two
or zero.

I am surprised no one else posted this question.

Here are some illustrative test cases:
This is a test. Two spaces follow the prior period. One space follows that
period.

X d f a d t d d t t d ia d A an A an k T
X. d. f. a. d. t. d. d. t. t. d. ia. d. A. an. A. an. k. T
0 G 2 G 1 G 10 G 20 G 30 G 40 G

Double check your monitor is in native resolution you should be able to look
it up on the dell website. This might help if its currently not in native
resolution
For example I looked up Dell 30" and found a native resolution of 2560x1600
for the 3007WFP model

Native monitor resolution seems to have no effect. I'm not especially sure
what the "native" resolution is, but I tried the maximum resolution as well
as several others.
