I use an up-to-date version of OneNote 2007. Section files have been deleted
and moved to the recycle bin several minutes after moving them to another
notebook from within OneNote.
I have had this happen while I am working on the section, with OneNote
suddenly reporting that it cannot find the file anymore. This is repeated
even when I restore the file from another copy, through explorer. This has
happened haphazardly with several different section files. I have not been
able to repeat this error deliberately by moving another section.
This has always involved the Unfiled Section as destination or source, but I
may simply not have noticed it elswhere.
Sometimes a copy is restored in the original location. The same sections are
then also restored after being deleted once again (both in the Unfiled and
other notebooks).
I have no sync partenrship set up, although that was enabled on the same
notebook at an earlier time.
