I had this problem repeatedly, and seemingly at rantom, between MS XP Professional AND Vista.
It appears as though what I had to do was sync, and re-sync, a number of times until it completely stopped happening!
Now- I sure wish they allowed you to SYNC your toolbars (and prompt whether or not the settings should be applied when syncing on another computer, or if that local computer's settings would remain) between systems. But following a set of syncs it seemed to stop happening altogether on my end.
This one is certainly a glitch, as the only logic I could find as to why it was happening was sync-ing.
Another thing you MUST try: Don't close the application with the Windows Close Icon (upper right corner of the application window,) but, instead, use the >File>Exit in the menu. These were the two things that seemed to affect the problem.
