Is this an Outlook question, or a Business Contact Manager question? When you say "contacts" do you mean contacts stored in BCM?
Thanks, Chris

Are you using Outlook, or Outlook with Business Contact Manager? IOW, are you searching BCM contacts, or Outlook contacts? This forum is for BCM...
Thanks, Chris

Please repost to the Outlook group. You might also want to provide more detailed information, such as - what exactly is not working - what you expect to happen, that is not - what changed, since it was working before
Please do report to Outlook.
Thanks, Chris

This is a BCM Search Question:
Search results produce ncorrect data:
1. I created a text field called Offer Response1 in a contact record under the General Tab in BCM 2. Inserted "Termite Treatment CD" in that same field in 176 BCM contacts 3. Expected to see 176 contacts displayed when initiating a simple search 4. Instead, 35 displayed 5. Hunted for a name not displayed but with data referenced in #2 from memory 6. Copied data out of field in #1 (after hours of wasted time analysing) 7. Initiated search again 8. Results: 141 names
This is just one of the many anomolies with BCM. I can't tell you how sorry and depressed I am over this program. I wish I had never switched to it.

Oh woe is me. My apologies to Microsoft...
