Look in the %TEMP% folder for log files with a time stamp from when
you ran reinstall. They may have a clue as to what went wrong.

The log indicates that the BCM component itself installed correctly,
so that not the problem.

One failure that people have run into is that after installing the BCM
component, setup calls sql server and grants some permissions so that
BCM users can create databases in sql server.

Check your Windows services (right click on My Computer|Manage). Is
the sql MSSMLBIZ service running? If not, start it, and rerun setup.
Hopefully, after installing the BCM component, setup will be able to
configure sql.

Do you have the script (path) to start mssmlbiz in sql 2008 or express 2008.
this is what i entered in the registry but did not work
"c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL10.SQLEXPRESS\MSSQL\Binn\sqlservr.exe" -sMSSMLBIZ

thanks

If you go to My Computer and right click Manage, you should get the
management console with a Services section. MSMSLBIZ should be one of
the services there.
