Underlining in Word attyin12 12/5/2008 3:18:11 AM This is driving me crazy. When I am inserting underlined text (I position my cursor in front of the character where I want to insert, turn underlining on, then type my new underlined text), when I turn off underlining, it deletes the underlining I just put in! How do I stop it from doing that? This seems to be a problem if I start typing next to a character. If I start next to a space or a punctuation mark, it seems to work correctly, i.e. the underlining stays.
