Margin Error Caused by Word Version or Normal template differences akkrug 12/16/2008 2:36:11 PM I am trying to create a pdf document from Word, but I need to create the form with portrait orientation with custom page dimensions (i.e. 11X8.5 instead of 8.5X11) so I can import the form to OneForm software. I need to keep the portrait orientation, but I keep getting an outside the margins error. The Tech Support folks at OneForm don't get the outside the margin error when they do the form in Word. They are using Word 2000 and I am on Word 2002. Any idea how to fix this? I didn't really want to get a copy of their Normal.dot file and I'm not sure if this would help anyway. Thanks for the help!! I tried setting the Adobe printer as my default printer and I'm still getting the outside the page margin error. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for the help!! The currently active printer driver determines what pages can be setup and what the margins on those pages may be. If as I suggested, you use the Adobe PDF driver as active driver, it does not have the same limitations asa printer driver and you should be able to set both an unusual page width and zero margins without it getting upset. By all means try renaming normal.dot to normal.old and see if that helps. Re-installing Word is unlikely to achieve anything useful and should be considered as a last resort.
