Table caption alignment

Hello,
Is there a way to change the default alignment of table captions to
centered? It is currently is left justified.

Thanks,
Ellen

You can modify the Caption style to be centered, but I would advise
deferring doing this until after you've created all the captions, as
centered captions can be difficult to see in the Insert | Caption dialog
(right-aligned ones are even more problematic).

Thanks, Suzanne. I've modified the caption style to centered, but when I
insert the caption to the table is shows up above the table and to the left.
Guess it's easy enough to align it after the fact.
