Blank tabs in BCM Home Page
lion 3/20/2007 4:18:05 PM
tHello,
Today I installed the BCM.
OS = Vista Business
Outlook 2007.
I did not encounter any problems during install and it seemed everything was
OK.
But now there are 2 things I cannot explain:
1. when I click the Business Contac Manager Home button, I get a window with
4 blank tabs.
2. when I try to move (by dragging) contacts from my Outlook Contacts to the
folder Business Contacts, some will be moved and others won't. The message I
get is: Cannot move the item(s).
After trying a bit, I noticed that when I open the item in Outlook Contacts
and then Save and Close, it is possible to move it.
Is there a reason for this behavior and a way to overcome this (I have a lot
of contacts that have to be moved).

Thanks for your help.

What is your user locale? Are you using same language version of BCM and
Outlook. For example, US English Outlook and BCM.

For you second question, I would recommend going throuhg BCM import/export
wizard to move contacts from Outlook to BCM. You can access this wizard
through File->Import/Export->Business Contact Manager.

My language setting is Dutch, but Vista, Outlook (and the rest of Office
2007) and BCM are all in English.

I have the same problem.

All US versions of OL07 and BCM07. What else can it be?

Can you try changing your language setting to English (US) and restart
Outlook? I am not suggest that's the solution but I wanted to see if that
fixes the problem.

MIne now shows the correct information in the BCM home page. Did a repair
