Hi,
First thing to do, is get the entries from the Application Event log of the affected machines. You should see some MSIEXEC warnings, copy and paste the text here.
It's normal for Office Setup to start-up for each user that logs on, this is because "User Info" does not yet exist in the HKCU hive of their user profile, but it's not supposed to fall over asking for a path.
Make sure you have fully read the Office Resource Kit and that you have done the installation correctly, per-machine with correct permissions etc.
It would also help to know, if you supply the CD when asked, does the operation then continue as normal or do you get another error?
