Office 2007 Ultimate -Outlook & Pop 3 Account
cre8tveminde 4/11/2007 5:56:02 PM
I have always used Outlook 2003 to retrieve my optonline mail. Recently I
upgraded to Outlook 2007 Ultimate. My optonline mail worked for the first
couple of days but now doesn't work at all. I get the error message that it
could not connect to my server. I've tried everything, deleting the account
and re-doing, checking the settings over and over. I contacted optonline and
they feel it is a problem with Outlook. My cable provider does not block port
25 and when I ping optonline mail it responds. Does anyone have any idea what
has happened? If I can't find a solution, can someone direct me to how I can
downgrade back to Outlook 2003? I can't even find instructions anywhere to do
that. Thanks. This is Windows XP by the way.
