How to select here to [Find xyz] ??
"InOverMyHead" <bbart[ at ]netcom.com> 10/20/2008 6:04:19 PM
I need to select all text from the current insertion point (curser location)
up to the next occurance of the text string "xyz" - on the keyboard. (I
want it in a macro eventually.) I can't seem to integrate the
Find (F3) function into the Select function. Is this possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bob (Using Word 2000, and sometimes 2003)

Press F8, then do the Find.

F8 is Extend Selection. If you press F8 and type a "t" for example, it will
extend the selection up to the next "t". If you press F8 and then do a Find,
it will extend the selection up to the found text.
