The Export with formatting button is checked and greyed out, adn I can not de-select it. Is there some sort of option that I need to set so that this button is available? -- Wendy C.

Is there some kind of unusual content in the query results other than text and numbers? You could try removing any non-alphanumeric type fields to see if that makes a difference. That it happens in both 2007 and 2003 kind of eliminates some kind of version-specific issue. You did not answer; is it only that query? If not, is it all queries in that database? All queries in any database? You could try a compact and repair. Or, try importing the appropriate tables and query into a new database; see if it works from there.
