I'm trying to format a text in reverse italic fonts, i.e. a font format that slant the letters from top left to bottom right, so opposite of the default italic format in Word. Who can help

I'm unsure what you're asking: Are you asking if Microsoft Word can skew text to the left? Word Art can do a little of that, but you can't make italics go a different way. Are you asking how to make a font that is skewed to the left? You would need a font editor. Are you asking if there are fonts skewed to the left? Yes. Many options there. If you are planning on large amounts of text, then this might be your best bet. Are you asking how to skew text to the left? You would need an application that can manipulate text in a graphical way. Photoshop and The Gimp are two, but there are many others. Or are you asking something else?

Here's a free one: http://www.fontyukle.com/en/Aquaduct+Reverse+Italic.html [Note that I did download from the site and the font worked, but I cannot vouch for the safety of any files from the site] There appears to be one called Street Reverse Italic that is free out there also.

You can reverse the italics for most fonts using postscript coding. In Word, you could embed the postscript code and the text to process in a PRINT field, but it would be a fair bit of work - especially if you want word wrapping and/or justification - and even then, the text would not be visible on screen and the results would only show up when the document is printed on a postscript printer or converted to pdf.

Reitanos:
Thanks for your reply. I am asking if Microsoft Word can skew text to the left. I'll go see if Word Art can solve my problem.

Thanks for your contribution. I'll keep this option in mind in case it might come in handy for a particular purpose.
