Need to copy macros and Organizer is grayed out
Cherie 12/12/2008 1:55:00 PM
I need to copy macros from one file to another. All instructions say to go to
the Macro and click on organizer (my organizer is grayed out).

Does anyone know how to get the organizer button active?

Are you saying that you cannot display the Organizer dialog box at all? If
you press Alt+F8 to display the Macros dialog box, the Organizer button in
that dialog box is grayed out? Or what happens, exactly?

I have tried a few things and one is the example you describe above.
And yes, when the macro box is open, the Organizer button is simply
grayed out. I am not able to select it.

There was at least one other way to get to Organizer and it was also
grayed out.

What are your settings for macro security? Which version of Word?
