Linking Accounts
Joeri 3/22/2007 4:12:25 PM
Hi,

is it somehow possible to link accounts together.

For example. I have Account A and Account B. Both have their own Contacts,
but there is a relation between Account A and Account B at accountlevel, can
i link those accounts ?

Thanks.

Hi

Thank you for your question, unfortunately BCM does not currently support
this functionality, however we will take it into consideration in future
releases.

You can, however, create a custom text field on the Account form and enter
the related account name.

Thanks.

One sugesstion...Not sure it will solve your problem. But you can use
"Initiated By" field of one account form to link with other account. Note
that this will only allow you to navigate from one account to another. There
is no actual relationship or business logic behind this linking.
